Cancellation of a reservation and other services ordered within this site, will be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Protection Law 5741-1981 (hereinafter: “Consumer Protection Law”), including regulations enacted by it, and after the customer placed a reservation through the site terms of employment.
An update regarding the cancellation of a reservation will be subject to the provisions of the Consumer Protection Law and its regulations, and in one of the following ways:
1. By phone at +52 1 984 115 5755, or by oral message at the place of business. 2. By registered mail to the Zama homes reservation center at Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. 3. By e-mail to: hola@zamahomes.mx. 4. On the Zama homes website (connect to your personal area via the reservation confirmation email to change or cancel it).
In the cancellation notice, the customer will specify his name and ID number, and if the cancellation notice is delivered orally, he will also have to include an additional identification detail
Cancellation of bookings for a person with a disability, a senior citizen, or a new immigrant:
A guest who is a person with a disability as defined in the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 1988, a senior citizen (who has reached the age of 65), or a new immigrant (who has not yet passed five years from the date he was given an immigrant certificate or certificate of eligibility as an office Immigration and absorption), may cancel a reservation if all the conditions listed below are met: 1. The cancellation is made within four months from the date of the transaction or from the date of receipt of the transaction details document, provided that there are more than 7 non-rest days until the date of accommodation and that the contract included a conversation between the dealer and the consumer, including electronic communication. In the event of a cancellation, as stated in this section, the customer will be charged a cancellation fee in the amount of 100 (one hundred) ILS or in the amount of 5% (five percent) of the value of the reservation, whichever is lower. 2. If a cancellation is made by a hosting customer who belongs to one of the populations listed in this section, the customer will attach to the cancellation notice a reference (using one of the means mentioned above) for being a member of one of the above populations, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Law.
Cancellation fee (excluding holidays and special events):
1. In case of cancellation made within 14 days from the date of booking or from the date of receipt of the transaction details document (whichever is later) and the cancellation date does not apply within 7 non-rest days prior to the date of accommodation , the customer will be charged a cancellation fee of 100 (one hundred) or 5% (five percent) of the value of the reservation, whichever is lower.
2. In the case of a reservation as stated in section 1 above, in case of cancellation made after 14 days from the date of booking or from the date of receipt of the booking details document (whichever is later) and the cancellation date does not apply within 7 non-rest days prior to accommodation, the customer will be charged a cancellation fee of 100 (one hundred) ILS or 5% (five percent) of the value of the reservation, whichever is lower.
3. In the case of a reservation as stated in section 1 above, in case the cancellation date falls within 7 non-rest days prior to the date of accommodation, the customer will be charged a cancellation fee of 100% (one hundred percent) of the reservation value (regardless of the time elapsed).
4. With regards to the reservation as stated in section 1 above, in the event of non-arrival at the hotel without notice of cancellation, the client will be charged a cancellation fee of 100% (one hundred percent) of the value of the reservation.
